Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the future. I teach 9th-12th graders and they are working on groundbreaking materials.
We are at a project-based learning school and my students are engaged in their learning which can't be said at all schools.
Students create projects using all of their content knowledge and display their creations to the community.
My Project
I am looking to supply and organize my classroom for students to take ownership in their notetaking and learning. Using incentives(punch cards), students will be prepared with supplies to organize their notes being taken in the class.
Highlighters, paper, expo markers, and pencil boxes will help students have supplies readily available to them to use to be successful in notetaking.
Students will be engaged in taking notes with having the materials at arms reach to highlight important information and make creative notes to retain more information!
Students have hand selected the items added with me and are excited to use them during class and notes. Students are excited to have their own white boards to work on problems at their desk in a fun new way.
