Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The first and foremost is to give all students a chance to enjoy a class rug to meet on during group work. While student work in groups I can sit at the teacher table while working with small groups. This will enhance the environment and allow the students to choose a area of the room during group work to work at as students remain following classroom expectations. Filling a classroom with furniture and building a safe and comfortable environment increases student success! Building a welcoming environment makes students want to come to school.
