it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first grade students come from a low income/high poverty neighborhood in the South Bronx and have not been afforded the opportunities that children in more well-to-do neighborhoods are given. One opportunity they often miss is back to school supply shopping.
Help me supply my students with necessities, such as tissues and hand soap for our classroom.
Young children use a tremendous amount of tissues, between sicknesses and allergies. Without fail we run out of tissues before December. Supplying my students with these basic necessities, and Lysol wipes for cleaning, will help keep our classroom sanitary and germs under control.
