This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fifth graders are eager to learn and have a desire to be successful in school. My material request includes classroom necessities that will help them do just that! My request includes headphones that my students will use to listen to stories and other texts to help them improve their comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills. The headphones will be especially useful to the English learners in my class to aid in their learning of the language. The timers will be used by my students to work cooperatively to improve their reading fluency. Finally, the desk dividers will provide the privacy my students need while testing, working on an assignment, or when they want some solitary time to read quietly. Thank you for helping me to give my students what they need to succeed.
