This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Included in my project are laminating sheets, snacks, pencils, and chair sacks. All these materials are needed to start the school year off right! The beginning of the school year is a busy time for teachers. We create a lot of activities for our scholars. Laminating sheets ensure that the activities we do will last throughout the school year!
Most families I serve have multiple children they need to provide school supplies for.
I want to alleviate some financial stress by providing the basics, such as pencils and snacks.
Chair sacks are an organizational tool I use in my classroom. Each scholar is responsible for keeping their chair sack neat and tidy! They are also a huge help with transitions between subjects since they have easy access to their workbooks and whiteboards!
