Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is in Cudahy/Bell area. All students in my classroom love to learn, but need extra support with gathering materials for school. They work hard every day to explore, discover and learn. I want to provide the most opportunities for my students to learn.
Although the methods and environment in which they learn best differ from one another.
We incorporate various learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! Our school is proud to provide equity for all students.
My Project
The alphabet cards will help students with letter recognition and will use in the classroom. Students will pull cards out of their pockets when put in a binder. The whiteboards pockets will help students with tracing and math activities to keep reusing the papers. They can be used during centers for independent work and help practice more for the students.
The bins will help me organize my classroom by using them to put away students' belongings like books or iPads & headphones.
The bins will be put next to the tables for students to limit distractions and emphasize on the learning. The dot-to-dots will help with fun art activities that will have the students engaged and focused.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
