My Project
The materials that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The parachutes will help with controlling the balls in the middle to not fall out and also with learning and feeling the change in form and tempo in music. All of the hands-on instruments will be used to keep a steady beat and feeling that beat in their bodies. It is so important that they feel the beat. The stretchy bands will be used for creating jump band routines with songs of their choice. It is a team building activity, typically having 4 or 5 people working together as well as a creativity activity with adding scarves, boomwackers, drums and other things of their choice.
The donations to this project will help all of the elementary students at my school in their formation of understanding music with movement, learning different forms of music, tempos, dynamics, body control, self regulation and working together as a group to be successful.
