My Project
As a 1st grade student, it can be difficult to be motivated and focused to learn. I would love to supply our classroom with a wireless doorbell for student attention getters. This will allow students to calm down and focus back on their learning.
When students come to the classroom ready to learn and grow, they are more successful in the material.
Another important item on our list would be the use of an Amazon Echo Dot. This tool will be used in the classroom to help students with spelling words during writing/free time rather than asking the teacher. The Amazon Echo Dot will be taken care of for years to come, so that future students are able to reap the benefits of using this technology in the classroom.
In our school, we use a program called PBIS Rewards. When students are observed following the school/classroom rules, they are given points. These points are then traded in for a variety of prizes throughout the school year. The squishy toys, slap bracelets, fidget spinners, sticky hands, cars, and bubble wands will be used in our classroom prize box and awarded to students each week for a job well done.
These supplies and awards will be distributed to and used by all students for focus, attention, writing help, and motivation within the classroom setting!
