My Project
I am a recent graduate from UNCG and I will be a beginning teacher in kindergarten starting in August. I want to make the classroom a welcoming and exciting environment for the children by providing them with some much needed resources that the room does not currently have such as a kitchen center, blocks, flexible seating, small materials and bins to place some of these items in. These items will make a difference in the children's learning by proving them an outlet to be creative and expressive as well as an alternative to typical seating, allowing them for movement. These kindergarten students are deserving of these materials to learn and grow in a safe environment. All materials donated will be greatly appreciated and put to use on a daily basis.
