Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Even though my students attend a Title 1 school, each day they come prepared to learn and ready for me to give them my best in our lessons. In order for those lessons to be great, our classroom needs specific materials, like chart paper & markers to create meaningful anchor charts that we rely on when learning new material.

When reading, students will be able to use whisper phones so they learn what it means to read quietly.

Magnetic letter tiles provide students opportunities to work with word families that will aid in spelling in their writing. Even the command hooks are used daily to help hold up materials like their math pouches to help my students stay organized. While these are just a few examples of our learning, the items on my list will help greatly throughout the school year (and years to come)!
