My Project
I have a variation of awesome students who are on the spectrum, from autism, to intellectual disability, to speech impairment disability. These items will make a difference in my students' learning because they will provide the differentiated teacher made materials which is where the colored binders come in handy. A great amount of my students require hand over hand making the selected highlighters beneficial to their use. They also benefit from headphones, as they can get overstimulated with their surroundings. Coming from low-income community we lack on basic resources in our classroom.
My students require a great amount of repetition and visuals which is where a coil machine will come in great use as I will establish their own coil notebooks with sorted worksheets on their level in order for them to have their daily repetition task complete.
My goal for this project is to be able to build a classroom where my students feel at their best potential. The items requested will help improve students memory and differentiated learning styles. It will help me make teacher made materials and overall it will help me improve classroom organization as this will only benefit my little champions.
