This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A teacher's main goal in life is to make a significant difference in their students' lives by guiding them to the successful road we call life. As a new teacher, I want to have that impact on my students' education. A great teacher inspires, and I will inspire all of my students and help them succeed.
I am a teacher in a 1st grade 6:1:1 class.
I have 6 lovely students who are Autistic. For those who take the time to know them, they are incredibly bright and have so much to offer. I am here to provide these students with the proper education. I love to create centers and activities that focus on our weekly reading and math skills! These materials and tools will really benefit my students and allow them to learn to their fullest capabilities. Children with autism are visual learners and often need a picture to be able to imagine an object.
My Project
The alphabet cards, word building center, storyteller box, and count and link kit will help to give each and every child an opportunity to learn as much as they can while giving them a safe and encouraging environment in which to learn. My students need different learning tools and materials to help expand and improve their expressive and receptive language.
Please help to create a vibrant learning environment for these young children with autism.
Being children from a large city, many of my students don't have the exposure to learning materials and resources outside of school to promote growth and development.
