My Project
I am privileged to serve roughly forty, brilliant, resilient, and driven young scholars who will start middle school in September. In their first year of middle school, my sixth graders embark on a new journey in their schooling, and with that comes new challenges and changes. Our school is a pilot school and the majority of our students come from low-income homes.
Many students do not come with the supplies needed to be prepared for learning.
Typically, I fill in the gaps of whatever they are missing by purchasing pencils, notebooks, markers, index cards and more for them to use everyday.
