Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students represent diversity in and outside of our schools. We are a kindergarten through second grade class in South Central Los Angeles. I would love to have the resources to show my my students that they too, are represented in literature, toys and art.
My students are hard workers who enjoy learning.
They will be so excited to see themselves in our library and art supplies all while having a space in which we can sit and enjoy said materials. They are an incredible group!
My Project
These classroom materials such as pencils, dry erase markers, and triangle pencil grips will help us as we start off the 2021 - 2022 school year in person since March 2020! My students look forward to using these materials in the classroom for their class projects and daily work.
Students will be able to create amazing artwork with the glue dot project pack and the Astrobrights colored cardstock.
As a primary teacher my students will be able to have access to classroom materials that they may have not been exposed to during the school closures.
Being able to use these materials in our class will make learning fun and will make a positive impact on all students.
