My Students

Wouldn't it be exciting to receive a weekly magazine and take it home to read to your family?

My students are a wonderful group of bright and energetic kindergarten kids!

They are learning to read and would be so excited to receive a weekly magazine to share with their families! I want to encourage them to read, read, read, and these magazines will provide a much needed, high-interest, age appropriate source!

My Project

My students and I will read these magazines during science and social studies time. Because the magazines provide informational text, my students will develop more complex language and literacy stills while having so much fun! The engaging online component will reinforce what is read in the magazines, and provide a visual support for young learners.

These "Let's Find Out" Scholastic magazines will not only help reinforce the curriculum, but they will provide multiple opportunities for quality discussion in class and at home.

The magazines are bright and exciting to kindergarten students, so they'll be building literacy, science, language, and social studies skills in a fun and interesting way! The best part is, they'll get to keep the magazines and share them with their families!
