Classroom Literary Library About Folklore

Help me give my students books to support their research and understanding of folklore and compare and contrast different versions of the same story.

My Project

This year, we are starting a new curriculum, and one of the projects students will complete is to research different folktales. Students will choose a folktale to study, and then they will work together to combine ideas to create a new story based on what they've learned.

These books will support their research and allow the students to see different narrative techniques that they will try in their own writing.

Literacy is the foundation of education, and seeing students thrive because they have access to interesting books is one of the best parts of teaching. In addition to supporting their literacy and writing, these books will also allow students to make connections to their own cultural stories.
