Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am very excited to begin writing with my students! Second grade is a big push for writing and phonics skills! The composition notebooks will be used multiple times a week for journal passages. The half sized notebooks will be utilized every week for important vocabulary. The students will also use expo markers to practice these skills on whiteboards. We make learning fun by simply using expo markers, the kids love using them. All of these resources will make the year flow for our ELA block of the day. I know not every student will be able to afford these specific notebooks, I’m hoping they can be donated!
