This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students adore reading and spending time in our classroom library. Unfortunately, our current classroom furniture in our library has been passed down through multiple teachers and is slowly falling a part. Additionally, we currently do not have any additional seating outside of their assigned desk chairs, nor do we have a classroom carpet.
The specified furniture and rug would not only liven up the space (building a fun and vibrant environment to encourage a love of reading among students) but would offer better quality seating and organization to ensure that students are comfortable and safe in the space.
These pieces of furniture would give students adequate and quality places to sit and congregated with one another.
