Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Books are essential in cultivating creativity and curiosity for students. I am a new teacher starting from scratch in a new school. The main focus for this year is to have a classroom library that ignites curiosity in my students. With this project, I want to create a quiet environment for learners to read and relax. My students come from low income families where often there is stress at home. Creating a safe space where they can relax is essential for their well-being and learning. I want to create an environment where they chose to learn.
