Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help give my students a warm, welcoming space where they can feel safe, calm, and cared for. Many of them face challenges outside of school that no child should have to carry, and my goal is to make our classroom a place of comfort and consistency. A rug where we can gather together, along with basic supplies, would make a big difference in helping them feel at home. These small things help create a sense of belonging—a place where they know they matter and where learning feels a little easier because they feel supported and seen.
