My Project
Building a classroom library that reflects my scholars' interests is essential to fostering a genuine love for reading. Many of my students are drawn to graphic novels—books that combine captivating visuals with rich storytelling. These types of books not only engage reluctant readers but also support comprehension, vocabulary development, and critical thinking skills.
At our Title I school, access to books students truly enjoy is limited.
With your support, I can provide a variety of high-interest graphic novels that will keep students excited about reading. By giving them access to books they’re eager to pick up, we can help build lifelong readers, boost confidence, and improve literacy skills in a meaningful and lasting way.
