Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are all between 18 to 22 years of age. The students are part of the Adult Transition program. Most are beginning readers and would benefit from being exposed to more books in the classroom. The school is small and does not have a school library therefore my students would benefit from receiving more books for their classroom. Some students enjoy reading independently others enjoy looking at the pictures while others try and read sight words. The students are eager to learn and are proud of their work. Please help me give the students an opportunity to expand their love for reading.
