This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is about encouraging a culture of independent reading among the students in my classroom. This project includes books that have been popular favorites among my students. My students this year are really interested in manga so I am trying to expand my collection and replace a few books that are missing from the series that I already have. As we progress through the school year, it's exciting to see students enjoying the opportunity to immerse themselves in books during class or take them home. This project aims ensure there is always something new and exciting for them to explore.
