Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hi, I am a new teacher for the SPED program (special education) at a school in North Charleston, South Carolina. Next year I will be receiving a brand-new empty classroom that needs to be completely supplied. As a first-time teacher I am starting from the bottom with basically nothing.
This library, with cabinets, rugs, and a bean bag chair, will be an area where students can read and explore different books.
This library will also serve as a calm down and relaxation area for students with special needs that require a lot of breaks. It will create an area of comfort and education combined.
