Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am in my first year of teaching and have noticed the lack of books I have in my classroom library. When going to pick out a book for read aloud I am struggling to find variety as I don't have many books.
My goal of the project is to add more books to my library especially social emotional books.
Teaching transitional kinder it is important to expose them to read aloud to develop concept of print and social emotional learning.
Adding more books would allow them to explore and learn to love reading.
