My Project
This year I am in a new first grade classroom. My first grade students are excited to learn to read and need the tools to be able to practice their reading skills. Therefore, I am working to create a classroom library, so that students can practice phonics skills we are working on in class. Currently the classroom does not have a classroom library, so this project will be especially impactful. The books will working about specific phonics skills, like short vowels, long vowels, digraphs and blends to follow the Science of Reading for the best reading outcomes.
