This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at BLA are avid readers yet the selection in my combo 6th-8th classroom is not sufficient! The school library was just reopened after covid and unfortunately does not offer a wide selection for 6th-8th grade students in the Tk-8 bilingual school.

My love for education came from my love of reading in school, help Bostonia students discover their love of reading and knowledge!

I wish I could promote reading in my classroom more yet I am lacking from a modern reading selection that middle school students would appreciate and want to reach for. I hope to provide a decent selection of all types of books and literature for my students.
