This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! I'm a first year teacher at Las Palmas Elementary, I can't wait to meet my students and begin a year full of fun and discovering and enhancing their love for reading. This project will help build the classroom library with new and exciting books for the students to enjoy. By getting this project funded, the students will grow their love for books and have fun reading new and exciting stories that are culturally relevant to them and reflecting a diverse population.

The materials will provide students with books to be able to read independently or in groups.

This will foster their growth in learning new vocabulary words and enhancing their comprehension.
