This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love that my students come to my classroom as little minds ready to take in so much information. Their minds soak up everything so well. It makesme proud to see their academic as well as creative progress at the end of the school year.

My Project

Reading is crucial in early learning. Students who read and are read to have more creative minds, and a higher vocabulary. Giving my classroom a library will allow me to provide this crucial part of my kiddos' learning experience. Books such as these supplement any curriculum. They add more fun and creative reading opportunities for my kiddos. It creates a break for their little minds to stimulate their imagination in between lessons. I will also use these stories to connect to the real world and proper ways to manage behavior. This is also an opportunity to teach my kiddos about interacting with others. These few things are crucial in early education and in helping my kiddos transition to upper grades more easily.
