This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are special because they are no longer the "COVID" kids. These students got to go to preschool and kindergarten fully in person but that does not mean they were not affected by COVID emotionally as they were developing. Being able to get them some of these different organizational and SEL resources will allow me as their teacher to help them understand more about those emotions and how to best target them. Also, I want to be able to add many different read-alouds to our library. It is important to teach content but also to help with teaching students to be successful in life.
