My Project
Providing my students with a wide variety of books is essential in sparking their interest and keeping them engaged in text. In addition, having a cozy place to read, with furniture that better supports our classroom library, is helpful in creating a reading-friendly environment. Our classroom library bookcases are falling apart and could use a bit of a refresh. In addition, my teacher desk is rather bulky, taking up valuable floor space in our classroom. A smaller desk would minimize my space and create more space for the students. This project will serve to enhance my students' access to great books and provide a comfortable space to engage with their reading selections.
