Classroom Library of Leveled Readers for Awesome Students
Help me give my students leveled readers the students can use to do independent reading on their level without concern if they can read it or not. A great way to enhance reading skills.

My Students
I have a great group of students that are willing and wanting to learn. Many of my students come from low income families and need additional support so they can continue to learn in and out of the classroom. As such my students don't have much access to books to read at home, and my students are at all levels of reading in my classroom. My students love to read and love to have books that we can read in the classroom to be able to connect with. These students of my look forward to being able to just go pick a book during reading time that they know will be on the level of reading that they are at without having to wait for library day so they can select a new book.
My Project
My students just want access to books on their level they can read at school or at home. Having my own leveled reader library gives me the opportunity, to help students when they are on distance learning due to Covid outbreaks, by sending home books with my students that are leveled readers they don't need additional parent or sibling help to complete and return when done. Students in my classroom love to read, but that is being troubled by not being able to find books on each individual reading level. Covid has only created more problems as students fall behind on reading when they don't have access to books on their level. This Leveled Reader Library for the classroom will give my students access to books they know they can read and will spark further interest in learning more about reading. Students are asked to read at least 20 minutes a day to help them grow their reading skills, be able to comprehend and retell things they are reading. Imagine going to a library, if it is even open, and struggling to find a book that you are not sure you can read or not because it most likely isn't on your level. I want my students to keep that love of reading, and not lose it because they can't find books to build confidence in reading. This library gives them access to that confidence and can be used to build further language arts skills. When you can read a book on your level, you have the upper hand in gaining comprehension skills, retelling skills, and be able to use those skills to enhance your knowledge. Please help me give this confidence and skills to my
