Help me give my students more graphic novels to read to encourage their love of reading. Also, flexible seating through yoga balls and the ability to organize our classroom library to keep track of books borrowed and returned.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are excited about reading and very interested in graphic novels. Being able to build our classroom library to meet their interest will help to encourage them to continue reading. The many books included in this project like "The Babysitters Club" graphic novels and all the others will help build their love of reading.
The barcode scanner and the classroom library envelopes and cards will allow me the opportunity to keep track of the books my students borrow and return to ensure they are available for other students to read and enjoy,
The yoga balls will be great for flexible seating in order to give my students options while working at their desks.
