Classroom Library Leads to Third Grade Reading Success

Help me give my students high interest books including graphic novels, superheroes, black history, and mysteries.

My Project

We are asking students to read at home for at least twenty minutes nightly. Our school library is closed, and we have a very small classroom library.

Safety issues keep my students from walking to a public library.

Adding these titles will make it possible for students to read independently.

Our students are eager to read, and they are improving rapidly. Having topics that interest them will make reading happen.

Our students face many challenges in their neighborhood and family life. A vibrant classroom library will make it clear that we support them in their journey to become great readers.
