My Students

My students are absolutely amazing. They are part of a Dual Immersion program. Since first grade, half of their day has been spent being taught in Chinese. The other half of the day is spent in English. It amazes me every day how much they can learn in both languages.

My Project

As I return to the elementary classroom from teaching middle school math and science for many years, I need to increase my classroom library to include books that my students will enjoy. As of right now, their choices are very limited. This project will also help students whose learning was impacted by the coronavirus this past year.

The selection of books I have includes contain requested titles from all of my students.

Most of my students love to read. The only downside is having books available with titles they enjoy. The love of reading is something that I want to encourage and not hinder. Any donations that will help me provide this will be greatly appreciated.
