it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our favorite books feature characters that remind us of ourselves! Help me give my students books in our classroom library that feature stories, characters, and settings that represent their own experiences!
For many of us, one heroic book character taught us to love reading by showcasing a version of our own identity.
In middle school, young readers are still exploring the variety of books out there and searching for that one story that will bring reading to life for them. For a long time, middle grade books were void of diverse stories, but now, we can bring students books that showcase characters of all paths of life!
