Classroom Library: Books Including Characters With Similarities to My Students

Help me give my students access to books with characters that have similar backgrounds to them.

My Project

I teach a kindergarten and first grade special education classroom. As a teacher, we are not provided with funds to update our classroom library. Our library does not have books that reflect my students diverse backgrounds and or disabilities. Your donation would allow access to numerous books my students can read that show characters similar to them, and or teach them about varying cultures. Your donation will also sponsor a storage bench, where books can be stored and students can read their books in our calm corner. Thank you for your generosity!
