Classroom Library and STEAM Tub Update

My Project

This past year and a half has been tough on all of our students (and their families). When my students come to school, I want them to be able to learn and grow with their peers, and what better way to do that than by reading and playing? First and foremost, I am looking to expand my classroom library. I have been gifted many books over the years, but have not been able to add new titles as much as I would like. I chose a variety of reading levels and topics, so all of my students will be able to find something that interests them.

With these books I am hoping to provide engaging and high-interest titles that further my students' love of reading!

I am also looking to update some of my STEAM tubs with the PicassoTiles, stacking rocks, and art supplies. I have been slowly building up a collection of things for students to engage with their peers in, and these would help add to that! I believe it is so important for our students to be able to play, but by offering STEAM tubs the playing is also educational and hands-on. Students are able to create anything they put their minds to while working and problem solving with their peers!
