This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is a Title I school located in East Harlem, New York. Many of our students and their families are working hard to reach their goals despite economic hardships that they encounter.
At our school we support a diverse group of students and subsequent management needs.
In order for us to achieve success, we work hard to develop lesson plans that are designed to meet the individual management needs of each student with an IEP. The Teacher Pay Teacher gift cards would be used to provide students with learning practice and activities for that specific purpose. Learning materials would be purchased with specific students in mind.
It is crucial that our students have all the supplies they need for success.
While our school prioritizes students needs and supplies the basic school supplies, there are times when student needs go beyond our means. We have a shared mission to support each and every one of our students in meeting their unique and individual post secondary goals.
