My kindergarten students are incredible. They are generous, caring, smart, creative and inspiring. I love teaching kindergarten because of my students' excitement and love for learning. Often I find that they teach me about life.

Student-centered learning is the ultimate goal! We are a Title I school. It is a blessing to work at a school which puts students first. Teachers differentiate instruction to allow students to be challenged at their own personal levels. Students learn through hands-on experiences, kinesthetic activities and fun, engaging academic games.
My Project
In my classroom, individualized and differentiated instruction is the goal. I want my students to be challenged at their individual learning levels. Using small groups instruction during math and literacy stations would include the use of educational games and technology to make learning fun, engaging and challenging when working independently. This would include iPads if possible!
My students need an iPad Mini with case for use in math and literacy stations. Students in kindergarten are eager to use iPads! They cheer and jump for joy when I had the opportunity to borrow some in the past. The students played educational games and apps that assisted students in learning and was fun and engaging! The iPads can individualize student learning to reinforce skills and concepts previously learned with a teacher through fun, educational games and apps. Currently, our classroom has no iPads, and I know that they would be put to great use every day, all day long!
Donations will be a great help to student learning in my classroom.
I wish that I could afford to buy an iPad for them, but hopefully we can get one together! The iPad will be a fun and educational way for students to learn, and we would use it daily! I know the students would adore this technology tool!
