My Students

Fifth grade is a year of such incredible growth and change, each different than the year before. My current fifth graders have an incredibly strong learning community. My class of 28 students has great energy, each student with unique personalities and interests. I am thrilled to see the growth and developmental milestones that have taken place in just four short months. It is an incredible joy to be an active part of supporting this growth and development.

My Project

I can bring education to life in my classroom with a shared iPad with interactive technology that makes learning more engaging and memorable. I can personalize learning in small group instruction to meet the specific needs of my students. I can use learning apps to create and manage reading instruction, math instruction as well as organize student data. An iPad in our classroom would also benefit our classroom economically, reducing my paperwork as a teacher while catering to varied learning styles. I imagine that it would be incredibly fun for both me and my students!
