Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hard work and dedication are qualities that I respect. Students learn how to respect themselves and others through a reward system that consist of a punch card. Each time a student is modeling and making better choices, can receive a punch on their punch card at the end of the day. Once their card is completed full, they can go to our surprise treasure box and pick a treat or snack of their choice. This allows students to understand and respect our classroom rules. We also talk about why they received a punch for that day or if they did not we talk about why and what can be done next time.
A positive classroom environment is vital, my goal is for students to feel comfortable and safe , set challenges, and get along with others.
Classroom incentives provide support as students get to set goals and achieve them.
This project will support our classroom by providing the following items: Gel erasable pens, invisible pens, snacks, coupon cards, punch cards, and much more! Each student gets to pick a treat and you get to put a smile on their face!
