it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my 6th and 7th grade self-contained classroom, technology plays a huge role in supporting student learning, especially in literacy. My students use online programs like Lexia, IXL, and EdClub daily to strengthen their reading and writing skills, and I’m so proud of the tremendous growth they’ve made this past year. For many students, headphones are not just helpful—they are essential. Students who have "test read aloud" as an accommodation rely on headphones to build independence and confidence while working.
Right now, we only have about 10 working headphones, and all of them have some type of issue—broken wires, static, or one side not working.
It’s time for an upgrade so students can focus on learning without distraction. With your support, we can provide reliable headphones for each student, ensuring they have the tools they need to stay engaged, independent, and successful.
