This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a fifth-grade teacher in a high needs, low income, Title I school where 100% of our population receive free breakfast and lunch. In addition to direct teaching, my school uses online programs for reading and mathematics to supplement our student’s learning throughout the school year. Students also use headphones in their special classes like Band, science labs, EL classes, and Music often.

The use of headphones will help students build the ability to concentrate on what they are learning more efficiently and will help them retain the information better.

Please help me give my students headphones to make lesson plans more easily heard! Headphones create quieter classrooms for better learning, and they help students focus.
