This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having enough headphones for my centers would be very helpful! In Math, we do daily centers. One of those centers is Technology, where students are required to be on a particular math website to practice their skills. The website includes videos that explain different strategies. The students need to hear what is being said in the instructional video, meaning they have to turn the volume up. However, that ends up distracting other students who are trying to work in their own centers.
If we had headphones, we could eliminate the distraction of the videos for other students while still allowing the students in the technology center to hear them.
It would be wonderful to have headphones so that the students can hear and focus on their online assignments without distracting their peers.
