My Project
I saw this idea on a social media platform and thought that this would be excellent for my students! My students love, love to receive incentives for positive behavior as well as just random acts of kindness. They are a loving group of students that you do not and go above and beyond on a day-to-day basis.
The use of a Gumball Machine in the classroom as an incentive would be the first in our school and my scholars will feel privileged to have the experience.
Our classroom is already a very inviting space where other scholars and teachers tend to make their way from time to time. They come to look at our pet turtles, or even to check on our plants.
The gumball machine and contents will add to our decor. The bouncing balls, the Mike and Ike as well as the squishy toys to go inside the capsules will be the perfect addition to our learning space. It will also provide an added reinforcement needed on days when scholars may not be performing their best or behaving and need a little more motivation.
