Classroom Games and Art Projects

Help me give my students some new games for their Easy Exit time along with art supplies to encourage creativity.

My Project

My class loves our two weekly free choice time periods we call Easy Exit. It's a time that they can spend with their friends playing games and interacting. It's not only a fun way for them to end the day but it gives me a chance to gently encourage friendships and help new students integrate into our classroom family. Students help each other explore new games, giving them a chance to teach.

Many of my current games have seen a lot of use.

Plus, my current class has their own ideas for games they would enjoy. I polled the class and put together a list of their favorite games. Additionally, I added some art supplies for activities I have wanted to do in 3-D - wire sculptures and clay - and some block printing. And we always need good pencil sharpeners.

My class is settling into this year and are already challenging themselves to work hard and then get to unwind and play. I would love to be able to offer them more play options that don't involve more online time.
