Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal for this project is to redo my morning circle area. I have two couches in the area right now and the students often fight over who would get to sit in the special seats.
The rug that I have currently is very old and stained, and I would like to use the alphabet rug to teach the letters as well as the letter sounds and use them as areas for the kids to sit in as assigned seating as needed.
Having a few more of the special seats will be helpful, and the student seem to be more engaged when they are sitting in those flexible seat options. The furniture is to also create a barrier so that the students know where the learning area is for the learning circle time.
