My students need more materials to help with group and individual exploration. The chart paper and clipboards will help the students with group work, while the markers, crayons, and colored pencils will help with projects.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Young Women's STEAM Academy is a single gender school all about the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math to everyday learning. We push for the students to learn with hands-on activities, projects or art almost daily.
The young women in my classroom come from low-income areas and the majority will be first-generation college students.
The girls are always excited to learn with hands-on lessons or labs. The girls love to use art and projects to learn in the classroom.
With the integration of art and project based learning in the classroom, my students will be able to create their own individuality.
My Project
As a beginner teacher with only one year under my belt, I found that my students didnt have the necessary items they needed to be successful in the classroom.
With colors, paper, and organizational tools, I hope to make my students shine with their own individuality.
I like to make sure that I teach to various interest, like art for artist, tech for techies, and dance or music for my preforming students. To do that, I need help purchasing the necessary objects to help my lessons grow. My students would use the colors and materials to help them create their own creation.
