Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating helps support my students by keeping them engaged in their learning, improving their focus, and supporting all types of learning styles. My students currently only have one wobble chair, which is the option they have for flexible seating. They love to use the wobble chair, but only one student is able to use it at a time. The cushions will help all my students be more comfortable when sitting on the rug. The wobble chairs will be an option for students who are having a hard time sitting still. The stools will be used at my small group table, and can also be used around the room for extra seating. I know my students would be so excited to have more seating options in the classroom!
